Happy Campers offers In Kennel, Private and Group Obedience Classes. The group classes are held outside, in a fully enclosed yard so that your dog can learn and socialize in a safe and positive atmosphere.

Class sizes are limited to give the dogs and their owners maximum guidance, along with the benefits of socialization and distractions. All members of the family are welcome to attend classes, which are designed to help everyone in the family interact and communicate better with your pet.

We teach basic obedience, general grooming, problem solving techniques, and socialization with a casual and fun approach so that you will continue training your dog throughout his life. We believe that dog training is a fun and enjoyable experience for the owner and the dog.

At the beginning of the class you will receive a doggy training manual and, upon completion, your dog will receive a basic certificate of completion as well as a "doggy goody bag".

Tina Roy is a highly knowledgeable trainer, and has been working with dogs for over 15 years. She has been running group classes and working with behavior cases since 1996. She has been certified in Pet First Aid and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She regularly attends seminars and studies materials about dog training and behaviors to constantly update her training techniques.

Erica Hickman has been helping with and teaching group classes at Happy Campers since 2005. She keeps herself well educated in the training field and worked for several years as a Veterinary Assistant with a well know Veterinary Clinic in Vacaville before being offered a management position as well as a Training Instructor position with Happy Campers. In 2007, she attended Happy Campers' extensive "Dog Trainer's Boot Camp" with several other trainers through out California to hone their techniques and expand their knowledge of different training tools.
